Ambrosio Quexada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Ubago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Etxekopar Floranes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Rockin Futbol Club's Isadoro Hermo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ambrosio Quexada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Ubago having to interfere. Celio Capell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fabian Ubago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Ubago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celio Capell's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Rockin Futbol Club's Inaki Zuaza got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fabian Ubago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Quexada in the 57th minute of play. If Celio Capell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Ambrosio Quexada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valerio Pobes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naike Aguinagalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Varadero FC got a freekick which was hit by Etxekopar Floranes. Fabian Ubago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Quexada in the 73rd minute of the match. When Ambrosio Quexada came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Rockin Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Quexada couldn't finish the play. Fabian Ubago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Quexada, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Inaki Zuaza fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rockin Futbol Club's protests and gave Inaki Zuaza a yellow card for diving instead. Naike Aguinagalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Rockin Futbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
