In the 35th minute Mario Xixons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedro Sancibrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedro Sancibrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Paladines de Bogotá's Cedro Sancibrao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Xixons in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Zoncolan F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute CA Paladines de Bogotá were awarded a corner. Lehoi Poncelas went to the cornerflag to take it.
