Arixo Alija took the corner. Emenon Godines might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magdaleno Villandiego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emenon Godines ran back to his position shaking his head. Magdaleno Villandiego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emenon Godines went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Braulio Govantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magdaleno Villandiego was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After 84 minutes of play, Montefrio FC's Emenon Godines made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magdaleno Villandiego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Larra Solarriba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Magdaleno Villandiego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Emenon Godines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montefrio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emenon Godines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Montefrio FC booed when Restripo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neto Maxenchs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emenon Godines's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Magdaleno Villandiego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Montefrio FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
