Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nacho Rosich made the kick off which started today's match. Cresenciano Valdivieso stood somewhat misplaced when Nacho Rosich came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. When Oro Luzuriaga came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Guabito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oro Luzuriaga couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Incendio Llama was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guabito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melchor the free kick. Incendio Llama hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Marciano Herenchun came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Guabito's Oro Luzuriaga. But to his dismay, Oro Luzuriaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 18th minute of the match Haritz Acaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cresenciano Valdivieso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nacho Rosich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bastian Bocanegra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, Adalberto Ollacuria threw the ball into play from the sideline. Melchor's Bastian Bocanegra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marciano Herenchun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berenguer Cascajares in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Melchor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maiorga Lebrato to maneuver through the defense. When Guabito's Oro Luzuriaga in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melchor's goalie prevented a goal. If Ronaldo Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nacho Rosich got free with Cresenciano Valdivieso in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Herenchun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berenguer Cascajares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berenguer Cascajares to strike the kick off in the second half. Bastian Bocanegra hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Marciano Herenchun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oro Luzuriaga went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Oro Luzuriaga took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Marciano Herenchun to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hug Balmori in the 73rd minute of play forced Melchor's goalkeeper Marciano Herenchun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Oro Luzuriaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oro Luzuriaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marciano Herenchun made a huge save. Cresenciano Valdivieso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Rosich in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Guabito getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gilen Manzanedo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guabito's Oro Luzuriaga got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Soter Rubires with Oro Luzuriaga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Guabito were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Melchor's much stronger midfield.
