With a little luck, Domoha FC's Etxeberri Caroll got control of the ball when Cordarin Virues tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ciano Cimbron came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Domoha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciano Cimbron couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Rinconhonda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telo Cabo to maneuver through the defense. Etxeberri Caroll made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cordarin Virues sent off a good shot on target. The tension between the Rinconhonda FC and the Domoha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pello Cagigas hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Domoha FC booed when Rinconhonda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pello Cagigas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domoha FC's Etxeberri Caroll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pello Cagigas in the 34th minute of play. Etxeberri Caroll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pello Cagigas in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordarin Virues got free with Etxeberri Caroll in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Hitzeder Arona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hitzeder Arona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hitzeder Arona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rinconhonda FC's zone, Hitzeder Arona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordarin Virues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxeberri Caroll having to interfere. Etxeberri Caroll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cordarin Virues went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
