Cordario Betances came out of the goal and Zigor Malave tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anaya Villarmea charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anaya Villarmea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Atletico Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Anaya Villarmea. Atletico Nacional's Soter Lavega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfino Carpio in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute, Emeterio Palmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anaya Villarmea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cordario Betances made a huge save. A collision led to El Vacile del Popeye FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jacindo Santoyo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Vidarte during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Diego Vidarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Tarabejano during the 40th minute. Soter Lavega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfino Carpio in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Nacional booed when El Vacile del Popeye FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Herrador didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordario Betances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaya Villarmea, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, Zigor Malave got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Zigor Malave had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cordario Betances. El Vacile del Popeye FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zigor Malave was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Anaya Villarmea struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cordario Betances didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Nacional. Emeterio Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacindo Santoyo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Soter Lavega having to make a save. Soter Lavega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfino Carpio in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nacional's Oroitz Salina got a free kick in the 78th minute. Emeterio Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Soter Lavega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Delfino Carpio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the El Vacile del Popeye FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfino Carpio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Atletico Nacional getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Oroitz Salina hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nacional's Oroitz Salina got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Delfino Carpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soter Lavega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
