The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Rui Avelar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enaut Baltuile. Baleon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Avelar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19th minute, Helder Cadanes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRUGGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Avelar in the 22nd minute of play forced Baleon's goalkeeper Enaut Baltuile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BRUGGE FC's Helder Cadanes got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Baleon getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Xinto Tormes hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Baleon's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Thuram came free, but Enaut Baltuile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helder Cadanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Helder Cadanes made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Baleon's Enaut Baltuile tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Helder Cadanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enaut Baltuile was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 44 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's Rui Avelar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enaut Baltuile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicodemo Beranga to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Enaut Baltuile successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the game, Rui Avelar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Enaut Baltuile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The BRUGGE FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when BRUGGE FC's Helder Cadanes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 63 minutes, Helder Cadanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRUGGE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helder Cadanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrigai Guau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helder Cadanes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enaut Baltuile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rui Avelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Petrigai Guau fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Enaut Baltuile didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BRUGGE FC's Helder Cadanes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-14 in the ordered_time% minute. 83 minutes into the match, Rui Avelar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enaut Baltuile. Baleon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Helder Cadanes scored to the left of an out of position Enaut Baltuile, making the score, 0-17. BRUGGE FC played a much better game than Baleon and deserved their victory. The Baleon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
