After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Lino Varas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peralon's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Varas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espiridion Ledrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes, Frasquito Cerbera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itagui FC and the Peralon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Itagui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frasquito Cerbera to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes, Peralon's Henry Muñiz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Espiridion Ledrado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peralon reached it. Sanduru Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Santio Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Varas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espiridion Ledrado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Itagui FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Teodosio Osas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Itagui FC's Frasquito Cerbera got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Henry Muñiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Espiridion Ledrado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Peralon's Dario Amocia made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Espiridion Ledrado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Varas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Espiridion Ledrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espiridion Ledrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Amocia in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanduru Abastas was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Urbasa Llantada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Varas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Espiridion Ledrado made a huge save. Dario Amocia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espiridion Ledrado having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Sanduru Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Peralon's Dario Amocia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Espiridion Ledrado. Espiridion Ledrado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After 85 minutes, Teodosio Osas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itagui FC and the Peralon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 86 minutes, Lino Varas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peralon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Varas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th of the match, Dario Amocia tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Espiridion Ledrado got in the way and made a wonderful save. Teodosio Osas was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Peralon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
