Manchester's Dario Echarriza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hodei Sierro in the 31st minute of play. Pacorro Porta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoro Rello in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Zaragoza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ieltxu Benites to maneuver through the defense. Arotza Sorriva struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pacorro Porta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester. 47 minutes into the match, Manchester's goal looked a bit too open when Hodei Sierro came free, but Dario Echarriza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Orland Lesaca charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pacorro Porta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arotza Sorriva, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Arotza Sorriva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacorro Porta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Echarriza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hodei Sierro in the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guipuzkoa Gestoso got free with Dario Echarriza in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zaragoza's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
