Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cayo Mascarañas made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Cativo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iquina FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Iquina FC's Raul Anievas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Feliciano Foronda. Samuel Algara hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Teofilo Payon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Acebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cativo FC's Cleto Sicilia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Iquina FC's Jonas Tixido got a free kick in the 25th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Jonas Tixido dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliciano Foronda, 2-0. If Hernando Brena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Mirueña kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Senin Failde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Foronda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayo Mascarañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Cativo FC's Feliciano Foronda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayo Mascarañas in the 61st minute of play. Teofilo Payon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Acebo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Iquina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Algara to maneuver through the defense. When Cleto Sicilia came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cativo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Sicilia couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Teofilo Payon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cativo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Payon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Acebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Iquina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Sicilia came free, but Carlos Acebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Acebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Mirueña, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Cayo Mascarañas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cativo FC's Feliciano Foronda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Sicilia in the 93rd minute of play forced Iquina FC's goalkeeper Carlos Acebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernando Brena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Feliciano Foronda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
