In the 12th play minute Xulio Rego came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eugenio Campano. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvarez Aramberri in the 15th minute of play forced Metropolis FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Campano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Campano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 46 minutes into the match, Xulio Rego notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Metropolis FC's Eugenio Campano. Eugenio Campano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yader Rioja made a kick off. Paulin Villarinos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Campano. Metropolis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Metropolis FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Milian Bodega hit a great ball. If Xulio Rego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Yader Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metropolis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yader Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristofor Carreras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puya's goalkeeper Cristofor Carreras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Puya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Rollan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Metropolis FC booed when Puya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Nougaro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
