In the 6th minute, Flamencos's Alex Carrillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Armando Lino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ximenez Jolis in the 11th minute. After 20 played minutes Macuira got a freekick which was hit by Maiorga Chanza. 25 minutes into the match, Macuira's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Carrillo came free, but Armando Lino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ximenez Jolis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamencos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximenez Jolis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Lino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ximenez Jolis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Lino having to interfere. Macuira's Armando Lino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Carrillo in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Flamencos booed when Macuira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion Moyeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Longar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Cancela in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gorbea Abrego took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Lino. Armando Lino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Macuira getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Diegotxe Ali hit a great ball. Jimeno Longar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopes Garro in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Ximenez Jolis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Lino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Victor Cancela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jimeno Longar made a huge save. Ximenez Jolis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Lino having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Macuira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maiorga Chanza to maneuver through the defense. Armando Lino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Carrillo in the 83rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Flamencos got a freekick which was hit by Gorbea Abrego. In the 97th minute, one of Flamencos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flamencos. Behe Cardona placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flamencos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Macuira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
