A hard shot by Luke Gallego from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Jimeno Longar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ximenez Jolis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaunzuria Falconi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Urtungo Bayon got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Recebera getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Urtungo Bayon hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Luke Gallego sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jimeno Longar threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Luke Gallego this time. 44 minutes into the match, Recebera's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenez Jolis came free, but Jaunzuria Falconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Astor Mostoles made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Recebera's Reinaldo Alaniz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jimeno Longar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Mostoles in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Flamencos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
