In the 12thth minute of the game Nicholas Varez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xinazo's Ramon Gargollo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edilberto Escolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Seña's late challenge caught a Los Cuervos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Seña helped the player get up and apologised. It was beautiful to see Los Cuervos FC's Ubaldo Urquicia in action when he in the 17th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Udalaitz Bolilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. When Elvio Entero fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xinazo's protests and gave Elvio Entero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Xinazo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elvio Entero hit a great ball. Ramon Gargollo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Varez in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Xinazo's zone, Ubaldo Urquicia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Gargollo came out of the goal and Ubaldo Urquicia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Cuervos FC's Hanni Guia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Entero in the 46th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Elvio Entero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Entero was the one to do the kick off. Nicholas Varez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Los Cuervos FC booed when Xinazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Seña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nicholas Varez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xinazo's Ramon Gargollo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Xinazo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Varez came free, but Ramon Gargollo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicholas Varez in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramon Gargollo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xinazo's Udalaitz Bolilla got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicholas Varez in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Gargollo saved Xinazo from getting behind. In the 74th minute Elvio Entero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hanni Guia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edilberto Escolar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ramon Gargollo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udalaitz Bolilla in the 79th minute of play forced Los Cuervos FC's goalkeeper Hanni Guia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edilberto Escolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Xinazo's Niceto Lujarra got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Joel Seña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edilberto Escolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Nicholas Varez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Gargollo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicholas Varez had several of the Xinazo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ramon Gargollo as he didn't even see the shot coming. 96 minutes into the match, Los Cuervos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Entero came free, but Hanni Guia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hanni Guia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udalaitz Bolilla in the 98th minute of the match. Los Cuervos FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
