If Cortez Montesinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Chihot got a freekick which was hit by Obano Argudo. Carmelo Llantaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cortez Montesinos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Chihot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cortez Montesinos couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Chihot's goalkeeper Ximenez Mulas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikelats Lasquibar. In the 26th minute Carmelo Llantaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Mulas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Llantaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenez Mulas having to interfere. Carmelo Llantaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chihot's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Carmelo Llantaron scored to the left of an out of position Ximenez Mulas, making the score, 2-0. 47 minutes into the game, Chihot's Paquito Ucieda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xabat Adrales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

Lisandro Prabes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Nalo Galan's late challenge caught a Oroque FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nalo Galan helped the player get up and apologised. Nalo Galan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ximenez Mulas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Llantaron's shot from short distance in the 61st minute.
