Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) aguilas's Benet Nuñez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matamoros's goalkeeper Roque Olazagoitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benet Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Roque Olazagoitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mambru Parserises had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicanor Sotomayor kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Matamoros's goal looked a bit too open when Benet Nuñez came free, but Roque Olazagoitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canor Nueva stood somewhat misplaced when Oso Tosantos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Oso Tosantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Benet Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru Vuelvetoros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Lluc Angostina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Olazagoitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harkaitz Pendones hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lluc Angostina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute Benet Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Olazagoitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benet Nuñez in the 40th minute of play forced Matamoros's goalkeeper Roque Olazagoitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mambru Parserises was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Lluc Angostina managed to get in a good position for a shot. aguilas's supporters rose to their feet, but Lluc Angostina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Olazagoitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lluc Angostina struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Roque Olazagoitia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for aguilas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benet Nuñez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Olazagoitia saved Matamoros from getting behind. Matamoros's Roque Olazagoitia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Matamoros from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Lluc Angostina got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mambru Parserises's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Canor Nueva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oso Tosantos in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Canor Nueva saved aguilas from getting behind. Canor Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mambru Parserises, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oso Tosantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in aguilas's zone, Mambru Parserises stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Canor Nueva came out of the goal and Mambru Parserises tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Canor Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oso Tosantos in the 94th minute of play. Roque Olazagoitia made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Lluc Angostina sent off a good shot on target. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
