Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mambru Parserises started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Botello Licher sped through Matamoros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roque Olazagoitia. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Botello Licher managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Botello Licher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Olazagoitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute of the match Arixo Porras sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Olazagoitia skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute, Nazario Arijola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Pinto Balcells was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matamoros the free kick. In the 24th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pinto Balcells to maneuver through the defense. Camerino Motel was a little too slow when Oso Tosantos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. Camerino Motel was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Mambru Parserises capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mambru Parserises really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Arixo Porras took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Olazagoitia. Matamoros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Matamoros's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Arijola came free, but Roque Olazagoitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Varlett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Olazagoitia. Matamoros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nazario Arijola made a kick off. In the 58th minute Nazario Arijola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Olazagoitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazario Arijola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roque Olazagoitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camerino Motel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danel Urreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Danel Urreta notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Barcelona's Camerino Motel. Camerino Motel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Transito Roqueñi during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Matamoros got a freekick which was hit by Transito Roqueñi. 3-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Botello Licher elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Botello Licher could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Roque Olazagoitia however easily saved by the left post. Danel Urreta charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danel Urreta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Matamoros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danel Urreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Botello Licher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Roque Olazagoitia made a huge save. After having played for 86 minutes, Benito Varlett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Varlett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Matamoros's Roque Olazagoitia got control of the ball when Botello Licher tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Barcelona were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
