Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fidencio Santecilla came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa fe's Leheren Cerillo. But to his dismay, Leheren Cerillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fidencio Santecilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leheren Cerillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Espartanos FC's Onofre Clarabout dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Leheren Cerillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Leheren Cerillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espartanos FC's Fidencio Santecilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Santa fe got a freekick which was hit by Tajo Ruiz. Gar Gallardo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kevin Noguerol. In the 24th minute, Leheren Cerillo made a precise shot to the right of Fidencio Santecilla. Espartanos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luis Solloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Transito Catala during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Espartanos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Transito Catala to maneuver through the defense. 1-3 became the score in the 32nd minute when Leheren Cerillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fidencio Santecilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leheren Cerillo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Espartanos FC's Onofre Clarabout got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Honorato Says mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa fe and the Espartanos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Santa fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Says to maneuver through the defense. Luis Solloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Santa fe were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leheren Cerillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Solloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidencio Santecilla having to interfere. Leheren Cerillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidencio Santecilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Noguerol during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fidencio Santecilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Solloso in the 67th minute. Leheren Cerillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidencio Santecilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leheren Cerillo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Luis Solloso came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Santa fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Solloso couldn't finish the play. Leheren Cerillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidencio Santecilla having to interfere. Leheren Cerillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fidencio Santecilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Leheren Cerillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 80th minute. Leheren Cerillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidencio Santecilla having to interfere. Luis Solloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fidencio Santecilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Espartanos FC booed when Santa fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leheren Cerillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidencio Santecilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leheren Cerillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Solloso got free with Fidencio Santecilla in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
