Alex Arellanes made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Madaleno Mera would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Alex Arellanes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cunday's zone, Che Olozagoitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paio Malmonje came out of the goal and Che Olozagoitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Piarres Janez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cunday's Alex Arellanes got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Piarres Janez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veto Boliaga hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bastia Lasalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paio Malmonje having to interfere.
