Txartiko Dopazo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Txartiko Dopazo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, AMERICA DE CALI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txartiko Dopazo to maneuver through the defense. Tarkis FC's Andres Pan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AMERICA DE CALI. In the 26th minute Lesardo Ubierna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blanco Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Velayo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Velayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Tarkis FC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Velayo. 34 minutes into the game, AMERICA DE CALI's Lesardo Ubierna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blanco Benavides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 39th minute, Roland Velayo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hondo Pinazas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ruy Ochandio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Velayo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Roland Velayo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tarkis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Velayo couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind AMERICA DE CALI's goalkeeper Ruy Ochandio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Velayo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Ochandio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lesardo Ubierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, AMERICA DE CALI's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Velayo came free, but Ruy Ochandio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Velayo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ruy Ochandio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarkis FC. Roland Velayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ruy Ochandio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hondo Pinazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hondo Pinazas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Velayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Ochandio having to interfere. Blanco Benavides made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Olentzaro Llama sent off a good shot on target.
