Batista Natos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martinez Miñaca in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Martinez Miñaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Natos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martinez Miñaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Natos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cali's Louis Leizaur got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Villavedon to maneuver through the defense. If Froila Chirghentino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Deportivo Cali got a freekick which was hit by Arnalt Zuzuarregui. Deportivo Cali's Batista Natos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martinez Miñaca in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Froila Chirghentino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Froila Chirghentino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batista Natos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Martinez Miñaca came free, but Batista Natos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batista Natos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froila Chirghentino in the 40th minute of the match. Iyan Lino's late challenge caught a Mayoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iyan Lino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Cali getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Iyan Lino hit a great ball. Deportivo Cali's Lohitzun Arrese got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Froila Chirghentino scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batista Natos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Batista Natos was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Froila Chirghentino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Froila Chirghentino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Martinez Miñaca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Batista Natos came out and tried to block the shot, but Martinez Miñaca slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. If Martinez Miñaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Cali's Batista Natos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martinez Miñaca in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martinez Miñaca in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batista Natos saved Deportivo Cali from getting behind. Froila Chirghentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Batista Natos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Froila Chirghentino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froila Chirghentino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mayoria's zone, Lohitzun Arrese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tirso Ozores came out of the goal and Lohitzun Arrese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mayoria's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
