The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderigo Mecaur got free with Donio Morillas in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atletico Nacional's Donio Morillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Arruda in the 6th minute of play. Roderigo Mecaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donio Morillas having to interfere. Edgard Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donio Morillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Edgard Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Donio Morillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Donio Morillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Arruda in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Roderigo Mecaur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donio Morillas was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Donio Morillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roderigo Mecaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roderigo Mecaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donio Morillas having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Atletico Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Vada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Arruda in the 90th minute of play forced Atletico Nacional's goalkeeper Donio Morillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Roderigo Mecaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donio Morillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
