The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiyo Eleizalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herauso Iñigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Frantzes Bengochea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Galtero Eguizabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qwinton Godinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Obeko Zurbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Obeko Zurbano scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Galtero Eguizabal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After recieving a nice pass, liverpool's Alonso Comacho tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Claudinei Carbonell kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alonso Comacho, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 34 played minutes liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Obeko Zurbano. 38 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Obeko Zurbano came free, but Galtero Eguizabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, liverpool's Osmundo Hondona got a free kick in the 41st minute. Frantzes Bengochea made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Herauso Iñigo sent off a good shot on target. Cordarrol Alari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Herauso Iñigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Santa Fe's Cordarrol Alari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frantzes Bengochea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, liverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrol Alari came free, but Frantzes Bengochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frantzes Bengochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrol Alari in the 67th minute of the match. Qwinton Godinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Galtero Eguizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenez Monar kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Claudinei Carbonell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave liverpool the free kick. Obeko Zurbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Galtero Eguizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Fe's Galtero Eguizabal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinton Godinez in the 79th minute of play. Galtero Eguizabal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Qwinton Godinez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. After 85 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Carbonell. liverpool's Qwinton Godinez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordarrol Alari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Qwinton Godinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. liverpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Qwinton Godinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Galtero Eguizabal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Santa Fe's Herauso Iñigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frantzes Bengochea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
