Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Ferdinand Othaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matarredonda and the GARCETO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Matarredonda got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Othaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Borja in the 4th minute of play forced Matarredonda's goalkeeper Fabian Ygnacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cruz Padierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cruz Padierna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Olavarria was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 12th play minute Sarracino Rioseco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Americo Olavarria. 1-0. Fabian Ygnacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Borja in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute, one of Matarredonda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Matarredonda. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for GARCETO FC. Ambrosio Palenzuela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabian Ygnacio. 1-1. Fabian Ygnacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maura Lloreda, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Matarredonda's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Borja came free, but Fabian Ygnacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Matarredonda's Americo Olavarria threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cruz Padierna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th minute Cruz Padierna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Olavarria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GARCETO FC's zone, Cruz Padierna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Olavarria came out of the goal and Cruz Padierna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Ygnacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maura Lloreda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maura Lloreda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Matarredonda booed when GARCETO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lia Bierna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind GARCETO FC's goalkeeper Americo Olavarria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iker Borja scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Ygnacio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 played minutes GARCETO FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Oyardo. In the 68th match minute, Matarredonda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christovao Rallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Lia Bierna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Olavarria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Padierna in the 77th minute of play. Americo Olavarria came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Matarredonda's Cruz Padierna. But to his dismay, Cruz Padierna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Lizardi Santurde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Olavarria having to interfere. If Cruz Padierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Matarredonda failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
