Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Girardot's Sazon Sotorrio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sarracino Rioseco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Batista Moracia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Padierna in the 7th minute of the match. Fabian Ygnacio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sazon Sotorrio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. A collision led to Girardot getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sazon Sotorrio hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Mauro Maruca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Ygnacio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrer Arbe in the 35th minute of play forced Girardot's goalkeeper Batista Moracia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruz Padierna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Moracia having to interfere. In the 41st minute, one of Girardot:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Girardot. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Matarredonda. Sarracino Rioseco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Batista Moracia. 2-1. Batista Moracia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrer Arbe in the 47th minute of the match.

After a defensive mix-up in Girardot's zone, Sarracino Rioseco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Moracia came out of the goal and Sarracino Rioseco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lizardi Santurde was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Matarredonda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Batista Moracia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrer Arbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cruz Padierna scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batista Moracia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sazon Sotorrio in the 62nd minute of play forced Matarredonda's goalkeeper Fabian Ygnacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sazon Sotorrio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Girardot's zone, Sarracino Rioseco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Moracia came out of the goal and Sarracino Rioseco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Matarredonda's Cruz Padierna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Batista Moracia. That made the score 2-3 after 75 minutes of play. Batista Moracia came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Matarredonda's Sarracino Rioseco. But to his dismay, Sarracino Rioseco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 93rd minute Sazon Sotorrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Ygnacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matarredonda's Jaizki Torrealba got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Cruz Padierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Matarredonda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Girardot.
