Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edson Calderero started the match with the kick off. Chancos's Sol Galvez got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sol Galvez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sol Galvez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Baudelio Blas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Edson Calderero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Blas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC America De Cali S.A.'s Baudelio Blas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Calderero in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Sol Galvez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baudelio Blas. FC America De Cali S.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sol Galvez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Platas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC America De Cali S.A.'s Maore Borja got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC America De Cali S.A.'s zone, Sol Galvez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baudelio Blas came out of the goal and Sol Galvez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edson Calderero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Calderero in the 62nd minute of play forced FC America De Cali S.A.'s goalkeeper Baudelio Blas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC America De Cali S.A. booed when Chancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiso Roca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rubio Gamiz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC America De Cali S.A.'s protests and gave Rubio Gamiz a yellow card for diving instead. The audience held their breath when Nunez Pamo in the 68th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Baudelio Blas's left hand side. Baudelio Blas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sol Galvez, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the FC America De Cali S.A. defense, Sol Galvez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baudelio Blas. The FC America De Cali S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baudelio Blas should have stopped the shot. Maore Borja hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Chancos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
