Mikelar Quintano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maikol FC.'s Rocendo Ruidiez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basajaun Parada in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Maikol FC.'s Rocendo Ruidiez got control of the ball when Berriotxoa Morente tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Basajaun Parada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rocendo Ruidiez. Basajaun Parada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With his leg Rocendo Ruidiez managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Topaipi's Berriotxoa Morente fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Topaipi's Berriotxoa Morente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rocendo Ruidiez. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Basajaun Parada took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Rocendo Ruidiez to make any attempt to save it. Ur Sobarzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedillo Rincon in the 35th minute of the match. Rioja Sole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Maikol FC.'s goalkeeper Rocendo Ruidiez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berriotxoa Morente. After 44 minutes, Yoelvis Socarras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maikol FC. and the Topaipi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Yoelvis Socarras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berriotxoa Morente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Rocendo Ruidiez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Quilino Galdo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Topaipi's protests and gave Quilino Galdo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maikol FC. booed when Topaipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilino Galdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basajaun Parada made a kick off. Rocendo Ruidiez came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Topaipi's Basajaun Parada. But to his dismay, Basajaun Parada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Rocendo Ruidiez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berriotxoa Morente in the 57th minute of the match. Maikol FC.'s Vedillo Rincon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berriotxoa Morente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocendo Ruidiez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berriotxoa Morente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Ermua in the 72nd minute of play forced Maikol FC.'s goalkeeper Rocendo Ruidiez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vedillo Rincon in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ur Sobarzo saved Topaipi from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Basajaun Parada made a precise shot to the right of Rocendo Ruidiez. Maikol FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 88th match minute, Topaipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matxin Miras to maneuver through the defense. Rocendo Ruidiez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basajaun Parada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Topaipi had played much better football throughout.
