Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lesardo Sovera got the match started through his kick off. Galaxy's Eleazar Urguia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Cajigal in the 3rd minute of play. In the 15th minute, Lesardo Sovera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabin Rumayor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Rodriguez Viniambres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxy the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Borra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguez Viniambres to maneuver through the defense. Borra's Sabin Rumayor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lesardo Sovera in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goren Cepeda in the 22nd minute of play forced Borra's goalkeeper Sabin Rumayor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Lesardo Sovera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy and the Borra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lesardo Sovera to maneuver through the defense. Goren Cepeda might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabin Rumayor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Goren Cepeda ran back to his position shaking his head. Goren Cepeda scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabin Rumayor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Lesardo Sovera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silverio Blanco's late challenge caught a Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Silverio Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Lesardo Sovera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sabin Rumayor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sabin Rumayor came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Galaxy's Lesardo Sovera. But to his dismay, Lesardo Sovera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Ceandro Betancia fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borra's protests and gave Ceandro Betancia a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Blanco to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Goren Cepeda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabin Rumayor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 56 minutes into the match, Borra's goalkeeper Sabin Rumayor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Goren Cepeda. Sabin Rumayor made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Goren Cepeda sent off a good shot on target. Lesardo Sovera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sabin Rumayor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goren Cepeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Rumayor having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lesardo Sovera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Rumayor was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, one of Borra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borra. Isidoro Ceja placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Goren Cepeda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Goren Cepeda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Rumayor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Borra's goal looked a bit too open when Lesardo Sovera came free, but Sabin Rumayor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Borra's goalkeeper Sabin Rumayor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lesardo Sovera. Sabin Rumayor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Sovera in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Galaxy's Goren Cepeda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Rumayor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lesardo Sovera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabin Rumayor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Sabin Rumayor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lesardo Sovera in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Saul Cuaron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borra the free kick. The supporters of Borra booed when Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Guion didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Lesardo Sovera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Galaxy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borra throughout the match.
