Jerico Elicegui lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leoncity fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Joseph Davila, was totally fooled by Nets's Orzaize Marino, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Oalo Salgueiro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Joseph Davila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nets. Orzaize Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oalo Salgueiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Davila having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Leoncity's goalkeeper Joseph Davila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orzaize Marino. The supporters of Nets booed when Leoncity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Cianca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Montrell Merida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orzaize Marino in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joseph Davila, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Leoncity's zone, Dagoberto Cabezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Davila came out of the goal and Dagoberto Cabezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nets's Oalo Salgueiro in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leoncity's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oalo Salgueiro in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Davila saved Leoncity from getting behind. After having played for 31 minutes, Orzaize Marino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orzaize Marino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Leoncity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nataniel Salvador to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Quintun Perdiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Leoncity's goalkeeper Joseph Davila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Asuaga. When Santo Asuaga came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Nets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Asuaga couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reyes Tarano was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orzaize Marino in the 53rd minute of play forced Leoncity's goalkeeper Joseph Davila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Precioso Urive charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Precioso Urive the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Leoncity getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Precioso Urive hit a great ball. If Quintun Perdiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oalo Salgueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st match minute, Nets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Cabezas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Cianca got free with Koldobika Ibern in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joseph Davila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orzaize Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Xanti Janer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Leoncity booed when Nets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Cabezas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salomon Caravantes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Nets got a corner. Leoncity's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orzaize Marino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Orzaize Marino made a great header on Nets's corner, it was just that Leoncity's Joseph Davila managed to reach the ball for a save. Joseph Davila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orzaize Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Nets players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
