Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) Camajoru's Eguen Avedillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camajoru's Michael Casanande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beltxe Peroalfonso in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Beltxe Peroalfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Casanande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eguen Avedillo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignado Mexia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Angelino Estrada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ignado Mexia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beltxe Peroalfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Casanande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Cipres's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Estrada came free, but Ignado Mexia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eguen Avedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes of play, Camajoru's Eguen Avedillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignado Mexia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34thth minute of the game Eguen Avedillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cipres's Ignado Mexia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eguen Avedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignado Mexia having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Cipres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iraitz Ricaredo to maneuver through the defense. Evangelista Merida charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evangelista Merida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael Casanande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Alcolea went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Camajoru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ignado Mexia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evangelista Merida in the 51st minute of the match. Eguen Avedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cipres's Marcos Alcolea got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beltxe Peroalfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Casanande having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Camajoru got a freekick which was hit by Santxol Buelva. Beltxe Peroalfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Cipres's goalkeeper Ignado Mexia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Estrada. After a defensive mix-up in Cipres's zone, Eguen Avedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignado Mexia came out of the goal and Eguen Avedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Estrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ignado Mexia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Estrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ignado Mexia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuelo Iturralde. The Camajoru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Camajoru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
