In the 11th minute Cefero Maneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helder Conti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabel Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Matuta having to interfere. Yutao's Cefero Maneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yutao's Marcelino Lete got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Duarte Notes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yutao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coronado FC the free kick. Duarte Notes was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Yutao's Duarte Notes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Helder Conti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cefero Maneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Vicente Cean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coronado FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yutao the free kick. Vicente Cean kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Cisco Morillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabel Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. The referee showed Oriche Acereda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cisco Morillas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Helder Conti made a huge save. Coronado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Cean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Yutao's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabel Tinoco came free, but Eugenio Matuta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cisco Morillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yutao's Eugenio Matuta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabel Tinoco in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Turi Buitron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coronado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turi Buitron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cefero Maneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cisco Morillas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helder Conti came out and tried to block the shot, but Cisco Morillas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Cisco Morillas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helder Conti. Coronado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cisco Morillas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Coronado FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yutao were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
