A collision led to Torronseco FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eufrasio Chavarria hit a great ball. When Tancredo Cora came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Esparramos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tancredo Cora couldn't finish the play. Gogo Jaquinot hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tancredo Cora struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tiadoro Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esparramos FC. Tiadoro Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nastasio Leys was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nastasio Leys in the 54th minute of play forced Esparramos FC's goalkeeper Jorrin Urrutia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tancredo Cora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiadoro Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Torronseco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tancredo Cora came free, but Tiadoro Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Tancredo Cora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiadoro Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saul Farre fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esparramos FC's protests and gave Saul Farre a yellow card for diving instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Tancredo Cora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astor Villacanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Jaquinot hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience cheered loudly when Xamin Novajas's long shot in the 91st minute became 0-5 when the ball went to the left of and passed Tiadoro Lopes. The supporters of Torronseco FC booed when Esparramos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tancredo Cora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Villacanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tiadoro Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esparramos FC played a much better game than Torronseco FC and deserved their victory. The Torronseco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
