Dimo Horcasitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Afaba went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 16 played minutes Bejucales got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Torroba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlan Cameno got free with Irrintzi Berzosa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, one of Bejucales:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Real Cartagena FC. Paulino Pablo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Irrintzi Berzosa. 1-2. Vasco Mestas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlan Cameno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bejucales getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alessandro Torroba hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, Bejucales's Senon Servicial shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimo Horcasitas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bejucales reached it. If Natalio Afaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Natalio Afaba came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bejucales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Afaba couldn't finish the play. Bejucales's Elia Guadiana suffered a concussion after 43 minutes and had to leave the field. Maju Biosca's late challenge caught a Bejucales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maju Biosca helped the player get up and apologised. Vasco Mestas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Horcasitas having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marquez Artime made a kick off. If Marquez Artime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Mestas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimo Horcasitas came out and tried to block the shot, but Vasco Mestas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 57th minute. Marquez Artime might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irrintzi Berzosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marquez Artime ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the game, Real Cartagena FC's Orlan Cameno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irrintzi Berzosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Dimo Horcasitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasco Mestas in the 66th minute. Vasco Mestas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Horcasitas having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bejucales's goalkeeper Irrintzi Berzosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Ostargi Fueyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlan Cameno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irrintzi Berzosa having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Vasco Mestas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 96 minutes of play, Real Cartagena FC's Orlan Cameno made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irrintzi Berzosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Bejucales players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Cartagena FC.
