In the 29th minute, Arizona's Azibar Postigo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Azibar Postigo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arizona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Azibar Postigo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arizona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Matapelaos. Tab Castañeda charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tab Castañeda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Matapelaos's Tab Castañeda got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to Matapelaos getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tab Castañeda hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Luciano Ariztimuño made a precise shot to the right of Aznar Leyarte. Matapelaos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Matapelaos's Aznar Leyarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ariztimuño in the 84th minute of play. Kimetz Barreira in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
