To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lander Fermosel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lander Fermosel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urrao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lander Fermosel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Manzarias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicholas Manzarias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Lander Fermosel came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Urrao FC fans jumped to their feet. After the first half Urrao FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Urrao FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Eron Camilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Urrao FC's Maureo Trianes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Nicholas Manzarias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lander Fermosel in the 96th minute of the match.
