Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauricio Vallines took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gibraltar FC's Edgard Loriga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanni Bergues in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanni Bergues in the 7th minute of play forced Gibraltar FC's goalkeeper Edgard Loriga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Vallines in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cresitobalo Ayasti saved Cutupil FC from getting behind. Edgard Loriga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caitano Payon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Caitano Payon fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cutupil FC's protests and gave Caitano Payon a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Cutupil FC got a freekick which was hit by Caitano Payon. Caitano Payon struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Edgard Loriga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cutupil FC. Edgard Loriga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanni Bergues in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Gibraltar FC got a freekick which was hit by Firmo Miranes. Caitano Payon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Edgard Loriga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 25 played minutes Gibraltar FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelito Rendain. Hanni Bergues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edgard Loriga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Loriga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hanni Bergues's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Mauricio Vallines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gibraltar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Vallines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Loriga was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Hanni Bergues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hanni Bergues really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 45 played minutes Gibraltar FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelito Rendain. Edgard Loriga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanni Bergues, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hanni Bergues to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmo Miranes in the 53rd minute of play forced Cutupil FC's goalkeeper Cresitobalo Ayasti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colon Ruelas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cutupil FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Osmundo Vilamajo hit a great ball. Mauricio Vallines struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Cresitobalo Ayasti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gibraltar FC. Caitano Payon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Loriga having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match, Tonete Posiga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cresitobalo Ayasti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Caitano Payon struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Edgard Loriga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cutupil FC. Tonete Posiga in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cresitobalo Ayasti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cresitobalo Ayasti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Vallines in the 77th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Caitano Payon sped through Gibraltar FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgard Loriga. Caitano Payon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Loriga having to interfere. Hanni Bergues struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Edgard Loriga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cutupil FC. Cutupil FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gibraltar FC for a fine match.
