Egoitz Acaron didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Imanol Villayres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Braña in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Caetano Polo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Imanol Villayres. In the 37thth minute of the game Caetano Polo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardenales's Imanol Villayres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Jeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximenez Vijil to maneuver through the defense. Ignado Urquiola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Egoitz Acaron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Cardenales's Prejun Estebanes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Polo in the 55th minute of play forced Cardenales's goalkeeper Imanol Villayres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egoitz Acaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignado Urquiola in the 58th minute of the match. Ignado Urquiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Egoitz Acaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, one of Jeren:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jeren. The referee gave Cardenales a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudio Letatu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jeren's Egoitz Acaron. 2-1. After having played for 70 minutes, Caetano Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Polo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prejun Estebanes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jeren's Egoitz Acaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pio Ballina in the 75th minute of play. Prejun Estebanes got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th minute, Prejun Estebanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Polo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Imanol Villayres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Leoncio Bedoya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Imanol Villayres. Cardenales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leoncio Bedoya's shot from long distance in the 85th minute was not bad at all, but Cardenales's Imanol Villayres knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Caetano Polo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Imanol Villayres came out and tried to block the shot, but Caetano Polo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 87th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
