A hard shot 4 in the game by Gogo Viego from a close distance when the talented Hipolito Mascarañas managed to make a qualified save. Guardanelos's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ted Reborio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nilo Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Reborio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Mascarañas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipolito Mascarañas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Reborio in the 10th minute. Txordon Bouceda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ronaldo Covielles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ted Reborio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes Guardanelos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Corzana who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Nilo Futbol Club getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Javiar Vigalondo hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Ted Reborio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Mascarañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Viego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Mascarañas having to interfere. Ronaldo Covielles came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Guardanelos's Txordon Bouceda. But to his dismay, Txordon Bouceda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rocendo Agulla kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Guardanelos's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Reborio came free, but Hipolito Mascarañas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Hipolito Mascarañas managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Nilo Futbol Club's Gogo Viego fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ted Reborio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Mascarañas having to interfere. If Ted Reborio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Reborio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hipolito Mascarañas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49thth minute of the game Ted Reborio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guardanelos's Hipolito Mascarañas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

In the 53rd minute, Estevam Fase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Corzana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hipolito Mascarañas. Guardanelos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gogo Viego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Reborio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Hipolito Mascarañas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilo Futbol Club. Nilo Futbol Club's Ted Reborio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ted Reborio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Mascarañas was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Ted Reborio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Mascarañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Mascarañas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Viego went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 71st match minute, Nilo Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomesano Amandi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Nilo Futbol Club's zone, Txordon Bouceda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Covielles came out of the goal and Txordon Bouceda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hipolito Mascarañas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Viego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sixto Gill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Estevam Fase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ted Reborio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guardanelos's Hipolito Mascarañas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Viego in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Guardanelos's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Viego came free, but Hipolito Mascarañas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gogo Viego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Txordon Bouceda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Viego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Mascarañas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nilo Futbol Club had played much better football throughout.
