The referee ignored Horus F.C's protests and gave Ovando Bayllo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Ovando Bayllo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovando Bayllo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Apolo Talaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Apolo Talaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovando Bayllo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La guayaba Mecanica 2.0's zone, Gomez Uriona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Talaga came out of the goal and Gomez Uriona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ovando Bayllo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joanes Orihuela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Gomez Uriona made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Talaga. La guayaba Mecanica 2.0's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovando Bayllo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Gomez Uriona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Talaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 57 minutes into the match, La guayaba Mecanica 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Ovando Bayllo came free, but Apolo Talaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Talaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomez Uriona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Joanes Orihuela came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the La guayaba Mecanica 2.0 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joanes Orihuela couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gomez Uriona sped through La guayaba Mecanica 2.0's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Apolo Talaga. After having played for 70 minutes, Zayvius Diez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La guayaba Mecanica 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zayvius Diez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rodas Corono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Talaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomez Uriona, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Apolo Talaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovando Bayllo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Gomez Uriona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in La guayaba Mecanica 2.0's zone, Gomez Uriona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Talaga came out of the goal and Gomez Uriona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to La guayaba Mecanica 2.0 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Stephen Anaya hit a great ball. If Ovando Bayllo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Talaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomez Uriona, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Gomez Uriona struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Apolo Talaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horus F.C. Horus F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
