After a rather tough play, Muñaños Fc's Adrio Dorado got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Covado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Muñaños Fc:s goal. Covado:s Evarado Oyardo showed great skill when he stopped Urdaspal Afraga:s penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Covado booed when Muñaños Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrio Dorado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector-Luis Ajamil's late challenge caught a Covado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector-Luis Ajamil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Hector-Luis Ajamil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muñaños Fc's Galindo Pedriza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cloyo Alves in the 62nd minute of play. Evarado Oyardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derwin Leal in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Covado's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Yugueros came free, but Evarado Oyardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
