In the 20th minute, Ramiro Castaosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Horus F.C booed when Jerigua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Horus F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Uriona. With a little luck, Horus F.C's Valentin Perramon got control of the ball when Artaldo Cogollor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerigua FC's Feliberto Loyola got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Feliberto Loyola off the ground. After 37 played minutes Jerigua FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Loyola. Ovando Bayllo scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Carabia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Ovando Bayllo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horus F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovando Bayllo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artaldo Cogollor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Valentin Perramon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The Jerigua FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Jerigua FC's Artaldo Cogollor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the game, Ramiro Castaosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horus F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jerigua FC the free kick. Jerigua FC's Luke Carabia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovando Bayllo in the 71st minute of play. Manuelo Roca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Horus F.C's zone, Artaldo Cogollor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Perramon came out of the goal and Artaldo Cogollor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Horus F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aznaro Rojo to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes, Henrico Herrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horus F.C and the Jerigua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
