The supporters of Purito FC booed when Dream Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isadore Rugama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo Velamines struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Colon Tejeda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purito FC. Colon Tejeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo Velamines in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dream Team FC's Delmar Estenaga got a free kick in the 16th minute. Idacio Zalvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colon Tejeda having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Galo Velamines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Galo Velamines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colon Tejeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Galo Velamines sped through Dream Team FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Colon Tejeda. After a rather tough play, Purito FC's Eloy Eliseo got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Purito FC! Senon Marzana came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dream Team FC's Delmar Estenaga. But to his dismay, Delmar Estenaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 39th minute Chuse Vallearena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colon Tejeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idacio Zalvide struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Colon Tejeda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purito FC. Senon Marzana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Arenzana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Joanes Bendigar hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Idacio Zalvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Idacio Zalvide got free with Colon Tejeda in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Team FC's zone, Baldomero Mirueña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colon Tejeda came out of the goal and Baldomero Mirueña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idacio Zalvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colon Tejeda having to interfere. Jago Olmeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Senon Marzana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dream Team FC's Colon Tejeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Eliseo in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Idacio Zalvide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Idacio Zalvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Purito FC's Baldomero Mirueña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colon Tejeda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 92 minutes into the match, Idacio Zalvide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Colon Tejeda. Dream Team FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Idacio Zalvide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Idacio Zalvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colon Tejeda having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Purito FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dream Team FC.
