After a defensive mix-up in Yuren FC's zone, Frisco Palomino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medardo Astonzas came out of the goal and Frisco Palomino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Yuren FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zigor Mahabe hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frisco Palomino in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Medardo Astonzas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Doñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Deportivo Diegol's Frisco Palomino got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frisco Palomino struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Medardo Astonzas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Diegol. Iturri Almaraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Medardo Astonzas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Ponciano Asomoza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yuren FC and the Club Deportivo Diegol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ponciano Asomoza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Frisco Palomino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medardo Astonzas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frisco Palomino's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With his leg Gonzalo Sobrado managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Yuren FC's Jax Lecea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 37 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Diegol's Frisco Palomino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Medardo Astonzas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The wind increased when Frisco Palomino made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Chuse Zalaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Medardo Astonzas. Yuren FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chuse Zalaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Club Deportivo Diegol's Frisco Palomino in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yuren FC's goalie prevented a goal. Frisco Palomino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Astonzas having to interfere. Jesus Doñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 74 in the game by Frisco Palomino from a close distance when the talented Medardo Astonzas managed to make a qualified save. Yuren FC's players were relieved. Chuse Zalaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frisco Palomino got free with Medardo Astonzas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frisco Palomino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jax Lecea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuren FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jax Lecea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Sobrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Frisco Palomino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Medardo Astonzas, 0-2. Club Deportivo Diegol played a much better game than Yuren FC and deserved their victory. The Yuren FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
