When Ponciano Asomoza fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuren FC's protests and gave Ponciano Asomoza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ElParaiso FC booed when Yuren FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponciano Asomoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medardo Astonzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricart Vallearena, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Ponciano Asomoza came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Yuren FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponciano Asomoza couldn't finish the play. Ricart Vallearena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Medardo Astonzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jax Lecea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute Baumar Hernainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medardo Astonzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Yuren FC got a freekick which was hit by Ponciano Asomoza. Ricart Vallearena took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Medardo Astonzas. Medardo Astonzas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baumar Hernainz in the 30th minute of play forced Yuren FC's goalkeeper Medardo Astonzas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Errapel Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Medardo Astonzas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Yuren FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baumar Hernainz came free, but Medardo Astonzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Yuren FC defense, Ricart Vallearena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Medardo Astonzas. The Yuren FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Medardo Astonzas should have stopped the shot. Ricart Vallearena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Astonzas having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jax Lecea made a kick off. A collision led to ElParaiso FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Errapel Barbosa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricart Vallearena in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Medardo Astonzas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricart Vallearena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Astonzas having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Yuren FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricart Vallearena came free, but Medardo Astonzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jax Lecea hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ricart Vallearena might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Medardo Astonzas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricart Vallearena ran back to his position shaking his head. Medardo Astonzas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baumar Hernainz went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Baumar Hernainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Astonzas having to interfere. Ricart Vallearena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Medardo Astonzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Opilano Sabuco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Yuren FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ricart Vallearena 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ElParaiso FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
