The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cilio Concellon struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Pello Lasaca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huaritajari. Huaritajari's Cai Arnao got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cilio Concellon came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Huaritajari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cilio Concellon couldn't finish the play. If Cai Arnao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pello Lasaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Arnao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cai Arnao took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pello Lasaca. Pello Lasaca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cai Arnao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pello Lasaca having to make a save. 22 minutes into the game, Cilio Concellon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pello Lasaca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Huaritajari's Cai Arnao in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fresno's goalie prevented a goal. If Cilio Concellon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Gizon Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cilio Concellon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pello Lasaca having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Fresno got a freekick which was hit by Gizon Sena. Cai Arnao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cilio Concellon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pello Lasaca was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Pello Lasaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cilio Concellon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cilio Concellon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pello Lasaca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pello Lasaca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bras Llaguno's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. With an all-out effort, Huaritajari's Pello Lasaca threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cilio Concellon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Seme Vallino charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seme Vallino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seme Vallino hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fresno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascual Digon was slow to take the kick. During this time Huaritajari's players had a chance to rest. 66 minutes into the match, Fresno's goalkeeper Pello Lasaca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cai Arnao. When Huaritajari's Cilio Concellon in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fresno's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Cai Arnao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fresno getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gizon Sena hit a great ball. When Cai Arnao came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Huaritajari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Arnao couldn't finish the play. Pello Lasaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cilio Concellon in the 83rd minute of play. Cai Arnao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Pello Lasaca made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Fresno's goal looked a bit too open when Cilio Concellon came free, but Pello Lasaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Cilio Concellon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pello Lasaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seme Vallino kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Cilio Concellon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huaritajari's supporters rose to their feet, but Cilio Concellon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pello Lasaca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Fresno's zone, Cai Arnao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pello Lasaca came out of the goal and Cai Arnao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huaritajari's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
