Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sport United's Chan Miel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Ciriaco Rebollar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rioja Salsoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txilar Urraburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugoi Guibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Sport United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Claude Maestu hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes, Haya FC's Beliran Betanzos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Txilar Urraburu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Haya FC reached it. Sport United's Txilar Urraburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sugoi Guibar in the 15th minute of play. Txilar Urraburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sugoi Guibar in the 19th minute of play. Reimundo Urtuuste took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Argudo. Elvio Argudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sport United's Txilar Urraburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rioja Salsoro in the 29th minute of play. Sugoi Guibar's late challenge caught a Sport United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sugoi Guibar helped the player get up and apologised. Sugoi Guibar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to Haya FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ciriaco Rebollar hit a great ball. Rioja Salsoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txilar Urraburu having to interfere. Tonete Bayo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Tonete Bayo's late challenge caught a Haya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tonete Bayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sport United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tonete Bayo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Haya FC's Beliran Betanzos tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 49 minutes, Ciriaco Rebollar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Rebollar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sugoi Guibar made the kick off in the second half. Reimundo Urtuuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Argudo having to interfere. Sport United's Reimundo Urtuuste got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rioja Salsoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rioja Salsoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txilar Urraburu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Buinton Molleda during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sport United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Buinton Molleda hit a great ball. Ospetsu Arlines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Txilar Urraburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sugoi Guibar in the 66th minute of play. Sugoi Guibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rioja Salsoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Txilar Urraburu having to make a save. Rioja Salsoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Sugoi Guibar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Txilar Urraburu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Reimundo Urtuuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Niguel Castaño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport United the free kick. A collision led to Haya FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sport United's Claude Maestu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Haya FC. Sugoi Guibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Txilar Urraburu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Haya FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
