Hondo Carrillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estefan Basagoitia having to interfere. Estefan Basagoitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesco Carbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orain Zubillaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
