Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cordarrell Govelo started the match with the kick off. Tenere's Mateo Zuniga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrell Govelo in the 3rd minute of play. Fagondo Laiseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Zuniga having to interfere. Cordarrell Govelo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Mateo Zuniga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mediodia. In the last second Oriol Theas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Orkatz Larrangos in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cristo Barnechea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Oriol Theas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Cristo Barnechea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tenere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mediodia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tenere's Cristo Barnechea got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, Orkatz Larrangos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Cristo Barnechea fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cordarrell Govelo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Tenere's Orkatz Larrangos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oriol Theas. Oriol Theas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The supporters of Mediodia booed when Tenere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maria Iracheta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fagondo Laiseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cordarrell Govelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cordarrell Govelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Zuniga was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 46th minute of the match Mediodia got a corner. Tenere's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uzuri Hurtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 46th minute, Zumar Aeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orkatz Larrangos made a kick off. Cordarrell Govelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateo Zuniga came out and tried to block the shot, but Cordarrell Govelo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 57th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Mateo Zuniga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Havier Guia charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Havier Guia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mediodia booed when Tenere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Havier Guia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordarrell Govelo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Zuniga saved Tenere from getting behind. Oriol Theas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Barnechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Tenere defense, Cordarrell Govelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Zuniga. The Tenere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Zuniga should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Cordarrell Govelo notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Tenere's Mateo Zuniga. Mateo Zuniga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the game, Ruy Padierna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mediodia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenere the free kick. After 81 played minutes Mediodia got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Padierna. Cordarrell Govelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Zuniga having to make a save. Mediodia played a much better game than Tenere and deserved their victory. The Tenere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
