Ferrer Castaneda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Anton Alborza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Cobreros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Alborza. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After 12 played minutes Fortul FC got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Roa. After a defensive mix-up in Fortul FC's zone, Sabin Carrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montrel Granell came out of the goal and Sabin Carrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute of the match Rojelio Gallostegui shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Montrel Granell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anton Alborza came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Fortul FC's Ferrer Castaneda. But to his dismay, Ferrer Castaneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Anton Alborza came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortul FC's Belasko Vinayo. But to his dismay, Belasko Vinayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Mijares in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montrel Granell saved Fortul FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Cobreros in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Alborza saved M&M from getting behind. Anton Alborza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Cobreros, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Anton Alborza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferrer Castaneda in the 44th minute. Adolfo Cobreros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Alborza having to interfere. If Adolfo Cobreros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 54th minute Adolfo Cobreros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Alborza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, M&M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sugoi Masferrer to maneuver through the defense. Fortul FC's Montrel Granell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Fortul FC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Ferrer Castaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Alborza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Cobreros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Alborza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferrer Castaneda struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Anton Alborza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortul FC. In the 86th minute, Ferrer Castaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferrer Castaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anton Alborza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortul FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
