Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Fortul FC's Cosme Cortinas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Fortul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrell Govelo came free, but Montrel Granell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fagondo Laiseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mediodia fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Mediodia's Fagondo Laiseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adolfo Cobreros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Sancho Roa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sancho Roa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zumar Aeta fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mediodia's protests and gave Zumar Aeta a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fortul FC booed when Mediodia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zumar Aeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oriol Theas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Cobreros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mediodia's Fagondo Laiseca in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortul FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cordarrell Govelo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Montrel Granell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mediodia. If Ferrer Castaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordarrell Govelo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mediodia's goal looked a bit too open when Ferrer Castaneda came free, but Oriol Theas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes Mediodia got a freekick which was hit by Fe Rellan. 54 minutes into the game, Ruy Padierna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mediodia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortul FC the free kick. 55 minutes into the match, Fortul FC's Gasteiz Naveda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 64 minutes, Gasteiz Naveda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortul FC and the Mediodia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fortul FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gasteiz Naveda hit a great ball. In the 69th match minute, Mediodia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Padierna to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Ruy Padierna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortul FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gasteiz Naveda in the 73rd minute. Celedonio Balaunde was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Cobreros in the 79th minute of play forced Mediodia's goalkeeper Oriol Theas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Padierna was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Mediodia's Ruy Padierna got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Ferrer Castaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferrer Castaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Adolfo Cobreros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Cobreros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oriol Theas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mediodia's zone, Ferrer Castaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oriol Theas came out of the goal and Ferrer Castaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Montrel Granell managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Mediodia's Fagondo Laiseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oriol Theas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferrer Castaneda in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mediodia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
